Website creation that thinks like you do. We built Uniweb because we were tired of watching talented people struggle with web tools that work backwards. Instead of making writers become designers, we created a platform where you choose sections by their communication purpose, then pick from professional visual options that fit your message. You get the look you want without touching code or pixels. Write naturally, make smart visual choices through presets, and let our Foundation system ensure everything works together. It's free to try everything in draft mode. You only pay when you publish.
Uniweb CMS (uniweb.app) is a visual content management system where teams create and manage sophisticated websites. Content creators work in a clean, distraction-free environment optimized for writing and organization, with intuitive access to components that bring their content to life.
Uniweb Framework (https://github.com/uniwebcms/framework) is an open-source development platform where developers build Foundations—purpose-built collections of section-level components. These Foundations define the entire visual language of the sites they power.
Key innovation? We unified traditional and headless CMS architectures. Content and code are separated but linked intelligently at runtime through Foundations. It's not an iteration on existing tools; it's a fundamental rethinking. Plus, everything's free until you publish—unlimited draft sites, no time limits.
Uniweb maintains a strict separation between content and code environments, connected through Foundations that serve as the bridge.
Unlike generic component collections, Uniweb's Foundations are comprehensive design systems that maintain consistency while adapting to different content needs.
Content and components connect dynamically at runtime rather than build time, allowing each to evolve independently without disrupting the other.
Uniweb was designed for professional teams creating sophisticated websites, not simplified for mass-market appeal at the expense of capability.
